The Continental Airlines selection @34,000 feet in coach class. Drinkable, but an echo of a better example. Some better choices might be: Inwood Estates 2005, pricey at $32 a bottle, or Arzuaga Pago Florentino 2005, at about $16 a bottle. It's a clear, bright, violet colored wine with medium depth, judging from the plastic "glass" i was drinking from. There are some berry notes for your palette if less for your nose. There are some nicely muted or rounded tannins withenough astringency to keep it interesting. Overall, drinkable, but nothing to write home about. You might do better with Continental's Chardonnay. There is also some question if you could even find a normal sized bottle as my reliable wine-searcher site didn't show it any where but Poland? |
